In 1994, a UK newspaper group shook the British broadcasting industry by launching a local London news station called Channel One.

I was chosen as one of 25 Videojournalists and we were tained by videojournalism pioneer Michael Rosemblum to shoot, script, direct and present our news stories in a fast-turnaround 24-hour news environment.

These techniques have now become common at mainstream broadcasters the world over.

I subsequently wrote the training book on Videojournalism for industry publisher Butterworth-Heinemann.
